Reset data

Start a new season, for example a new school year: restart attendance, set up new small groups, or clear out old content.

Who can do this

Group admins. You'll see a Dashboard tab at the bottom of the app.

  1. Tap Dashboard, then tap ⋮ at the top right.
  2. Tap Reset Data. Choose one of the three options below.

Save a copy first

Before a big reset, email yourself a report of your attendance and members, so you have a record of the old season.

Reset Attendance

Restart attendance from a new date. Statistics and the attendance report then count from that date. Past attendance isn't deleted.

  1. Tap Reset Attendance. You'll see the Current Start Date.
  2. Choose the New Start Date.
  3. Tap Reset, then confirm with Reset.

Reset and Create New Groups

Archive your current small groups and put every member into new ones.

This can't be undone

  • Your current small groups are archived and can't be brought back.
  • Every member is taken out of their old small group. Members you don't assign to a new group are left without one.
  • Everyone except you loses the Leader and Committee roles. Give them back to the new leaders afterwards, from Change a member's group and roles.

Step 1: name the new groups

  1. Tap Reset and Create New Groups. You'll see Create fellowship groups.
  2. Type a name under New Group Name and tap +. Repeat for each group. To reuse last season's names, tap Copy Old Groups, then Copy.
  3. Optionally choose a category for each group. Categories group small groups together for attendance subtotals.
  4. Drag to reorder, or remove a name you don't need. Tap Continue.

Step 2: assign members

You'll see Reassign members. Each member's old group shows under their name ("Was in ..."), or New Member if they didn't have one.

  1. For each member, pick a group from Choose group.
  2. To move several people at once, tick them, then use Assign to… in the bar at the bottom.
  3. The top of the list shows how many have been assigned so far.
  4. Tap Save assignments, then confirm with Reset.

Reset Content

Permanently delete everything of a given type from your group.

  1. Tap Reset Content.
  2. Tick each type to delete: Announcement, Program, Survey, Registration Form, Post, Album or Ride.
  3. Tap Reset number Contents and confirm with Reset.

Deleted for good

"This will permanently remove all selected content. This action cannot be undone." Everything of the ticked types is deleted, for everyone in your group, including items you still want. Export what you need first.
