Activate your account

The first time you use Fella, you activate the account your group set up for you. You need:

  • the email address on your registration form, and
  • access to that inbox, because Fella emails you a 6-digit code.

No registration yet?

Your group admin creates your profile from a registration form. If you haven't filled one in, ask your group admin first. You can't activate an account without one.

Steps

  1. Open the Fella app and tap Sign up free.
  2. Enter your Email, choose a New Password (at least 6 characters), and type it again in Confirm Password.
  3. Tap Register. You'll see Activation Code Sent.
  4. Check your inbox (and your spam folder) for an email with a 6-digit code. The code expires in 5 minutes. The screen counts down the time left.
  5. Enter the code and tap Activate.

Fella signs you in as soon as activation finishes.

Code didn't arrive, or ran out of time?

Tap Send me the code again to get a new code. If the code expired before you tapped Activate, Fella sends you a new one automatically.

If something goes wrong

Message in the app What to do
User profile does not exist! Please contact your group administrator and fill a registration form There's no registration for this email. Check for typos, or ask your group admin which email they used.
Account already exist! Reset your password if you don't remember or contact your group admin This account is already active. Go to Sign in instead, and use Forgot Password? if you need to.
Password does not match! Please try again New Password and Confirm Password are different. Type them again.
Activation code is incorrect! Please try again Check the latest email; older codes stop working once you ask for a new one.
The activation code has expired! You will receive a new code momentarily Wait for the new email, then enter that code.
Activation failed! Please try again or contact your group admin Make sure your password has at least 6 characters, then try again. If it keeps failing, contact your group admin.

Tapped Log In by mistake?

If you tap Log In before activating, Fella shows "Please activate the account if this is the first time login" and switches to the sign-up form. Carry on from step 2.
