Remove members

Take members who have left out of your group, for example people who haven't come in a long time.

Who can do this

Group admins. You'll see a Dashboard tab at the bottom of the app.

Steps

  1. Tap Dashboard, then tap ⋮ at the top right.
  2. Tap User Management, then Remove Members.
  3. The list starts with Inactive Members Only: "These are users who haven't attended for the past 6 months". Turn it off to see All Members.
  4. Tick the members to remove, or tick Select number Users to select everyone listed. Each member shows their small group and when they Last Attended. Use the sort icon to order the list by Last Attended, Name or Small Group.
  5. Tap Remove number Users and confirm with Remove.

What removing does

  • The member no longer appears in your group's member list, attendance or dashboard, and loses their roles in your group.
  • Their Fella account stays. They can still sign in, and stay in any other groups they belong to.
  • To bring them back, add them again with the new member form. Fella finds their existing profile.

Other ways to remove someone

  • Only from their small group: on the member's Permissions, tap the red exit icon. They stay in your group. See Change a member's group and roles.
  • Members can leave themselves: from their own profile, with Opt-Out.
