Check in your family
At programs that use check-in (for example, children's programs), you show a pass on your phone and a welcomer scans it. You use the same pass to pick your family member up.
Before you start
- Your group must have check-in turned on. If it is on, a Check-In button appears on your home page.
- Your family members must be linked to your profile. If they aren't, Fella says "You can only use this feature when there are family members linked in your profile". Ask your group admin to link them.
Drop-off: check in
- On the home page, tap Check-In.
- Fella shows a Check-In Pass for each family member. Swipe to the person you're checking in.
- Show the QR code to the welcomer. Fella turns up your screen brightness to make scanning easier ("Brightness raised for scanning").
- Once you're scanned, the card flips to a Check-Out Pass and shows the Check-In Time and the Authorized User (the person who checked them in).
Pick-up: check out
- Tap Check-In on the home page again.
- Swipe to your family member's Check-Out Pass.
- Show the QR code to the leader at the door. Once it's scanned, the pass shows the Check-Out Time.
Add the pass to your wallet
If your group allows it, you'll see Add to Apple Wallet (iPhone) or Add to Google Wallet (Android) under the pass. A wallet pass shows the same QR code, so you can check in without opening the app.
No phone with you?
A leader can check your family member in by name instead (Manual Check-In). They can email a check-out QR code to you for pick-up.
